Arlo's Recording House is a creative recording studio and cassette tape duplication service focused on helping artists, bands, and independent creators bring their audio projects to life. Specializing in recording, editing, mixing, mastering, and high-quality cassette duplication.
Located in Ypsilanti, MI. Arlo’s Recording House was named in honor of my dog, Arlo, whose loyalty, personality, and companionship inspired me to create something meaningful and lasting. He’s been a huge part of my life, and naming the studio after him felt like the perfect way to honor that bond. What started as a personal passion for recording and cassette culture gradually grew into something bigger, and within the last year I decided to officially open the doors to the public. Now, Arlo’s Recording House is a welcoming creative space where musicians, voice actors, and artists can record, create, and preserve their work with a personal touch and genuine care behind every project.
Larry Johnson is a trained audio producer with two certificates in audio production—one from The Recording Workshop and another from Washtenaw Community College. Alongside hands-on studio experience as an established musician, I continue to expand my skills while currently pursuing a Digital Media Arts degree.
